Working Together

We are proud to be working with the OAMHP – Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals and appreciate their trust in us. As a result of their involvement, we have seen a surge in the number of professionals who have joined us this month – all with great qualifications and areas of expertise that may of be of help to you and your clients/patients when making referrals.

Referral Requests

We have added another page to our site. This page, which we have been promoting on social media thus far, allows the general public, looking for help from a health professional, to let us know what they are looking for. Then, our team will match each referral request with one or more of you who meets their needs. This is just one more way that we are working hard at making sure that we continue to help you grow your practice while also allowing patients and clients to receive quicker, effective service. Take a look at the Looking for Help? Page by clicking here.

As a reminder, please let the person to whom you are referring know that you have sent someone their way. You can do this confidentially by sending them a message through their profile page. As always, please don’t include identifying information. For example, when referring a client or patient to a Refer To Me member, you can send the member a message such as “hi, just a heads up that I have referred a 23 year old male – Harry – to you for help with anxiety.” Or sometimes, if you want to make sure that the person to whom you’re referring is a good match, you might ask a question such as “I’d like to refer a young woman to you who is dealing with anxiety about her mortality. Is this something you are comfortable with?”

Discussion Forums

Have you checked out the discussion forums lately? Click here to view one of the latest discussions in the Ask a Member discussion board “Looking to rent in Toronto?” Or take a look on the App. As a reminder, you can subscribe to one or more of the six discussion boards to receive an alert when another member posts something. To do this, just click on the discussion board, then on the subscribe button in the upper right hand corner. You can also unsubscribe at any time.

Members Only App

You may have noticed that you are unable to copy and paste information from the App. This is frustrating for us, too. Rest assured that we are working behind the scenes to fix this. In the meantime, you may still copy and paste by signing into the Refer To Me site or sometimes, if the email address is straightforward, I write it down and then type it out for my client in an email or text. Or, if you’d like, you can also go the professional’s website and copy that url to send to the person who is looking for a referral.

If you haven’t done so already, please download our members only App. This will make it even easier to find professionals to refer to, send messages to one another and participate in our discussion forums! The App is available on both the App Store and Google Play Store

Thanks for using our Refer To Me health professionals directory to find help.

In your message please let the professional to whom you are writing know whether you are looking for individual, couple or family help. If there’s a specific area of concern, please mention this, too. Also, you may want to enquire as to whether or not the Refer To Me health professional is available in person or online only.

Please allow 24-48 hours for a response. If you do not hear back from the professional, please contact so that we can assist you.

Refer To Me does not read or retain your email. However, a copy will be sent to you for your records. Please be aware that email is not a secure means of communication and spam filters may prevent your email from reaching the health professional. If you haven’t heard from the health professional within 48 hours, please contact us so that we may assist.
