  • Hello, R.P.(Q.) in the Halton Region

    Hello fellow therapists,

I am excited to join this forum and look forward to referrals for my private practice. I am working hard to log in my clinical hours so that I can drop the Q from my title.

My area of focus is supporting adults struggling, stuck and suffering with symptoms related to anxiety, depression, and grief of a loss using a virtual platform. Therapy with me is built on mindful acceptance and focused compassion – I am a Russ Harris fan. As such, I believe strongly that our internal dialogue matters and heavily influences how we manage distressing and challenging life events. I believe in helping clients reach a place of self-compassion, a place of meaning and acceptance – a space of loving, connected presence, a place to flourish and to heal.

Please check out my website for more information – https://www.acompassionatespace.ca/.

I look forward to connecting with my peers and garnering some client referrals.

    Sincerely,

    Lori Schledewitz, M.A., R.P.(Q)

Hi Lori, Glad to hear you are close by! I’m new to this site and just figuring it out. Would love to chat. I remember the process of going from RP(Q) to RP….really stressful but satisfying in the end.
