Christine is a Registered Psychotherapist and Social Worker who is passionate about providing support to individuals facing life transitions.  She is particularly passionate about working with adults in the second half of life who are grappling with questions of identity or purpose in life, navigating relationships, career transitions and health related concerns, among other issues.

Christine has spent the majority of her career working with those individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias and their caregivers.  She developed a novel program for those living with dementia in the early stages of the disease learn to cope with their illness and plan their future.  She also developed a bereavement support group for those who were struggling with the grief that accompanies the disease from point of diagnosis to death and beyond.  Christine also worked with the Reitman Centre program for caregivers at Mount Sinai hospital facilitating their excellent TEACH and CARERS program through the Alzheimer Society in Peel and Halton.  These programs focused on the caregiver challenges including communication and behavioural.

Christine completed her Masters in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University.  Christine is comfortable working with a range of clinical concerns.  Her areas of expertise include anxiety, low mood, grief and loss, caregiver burnout and stress management, delivered through the use of modalities like Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal and Integrative therapy, Solutions Focused, and Grief therapy.  She now works in private practice.
