March 2022

It’s been just over a year since we first launched ReferToMe.ca and we’re thrilled to share that as of today, our newly revised members only community is live! In this, the first of many blogs on the site, we would like to share some of our key updates.
Dashboard (NEW!)
The dashboard provides quick and easy access to the members directory, your private messages, our new discussion forums and member rewards.
You will notice that at the top of your dashboard, you can now see what percentage of your profile page has been completed, so that you can edit it accordingly.
On the left-hand side of the page, you will see a menu which provides quick links to everything you might want to access as a member. If you continue scrolling down the page, you will see the latest member activity on our site, along with who our newest members are.
Discussion Forums (NEW!)
Although Slack was a great tool for our members to engage with one another, we realized that it made more sense to have discussions on one community platform. So, we’ve removed Slack, and now you can easily communicate with other professionals here!
Unfortunately, we weren’t able to save the messages that you posted on Slack in order to migrate them onto this new platform. We apologize for this and hope that you are able to repost anything that is still relevant.
Staying Connected Blog (NEW!)
Our blog page will display monthly Staying Connected newsletters that go out to our Mailchimp subscribers. If you aren’t on our mailing list, this is a great page to occasionally check to receive site related news and updates.
The Members Directory
You’ll see that the look and feel of the directory is quite similar to what was previously seen. To make a referral, you would start by selecting criteria. Then, click the search button to view all members that match your selections. Want to start over? Click the reset button.
Members Profile Pages
You can scroll through a member’s profile page in the same manner as you did with our old platform. You can also click on the ‘message’ button, where you can send a private message to a professional to let them know that you are referring a client or patient to them. Please remember to not include any identifying information such as a last name.
Introducing the Refer To Me App!
Next month we will be launching a Refer To Me App on both Apple and Google Play stores. You can download this App for free and then will be able to send and receive referrals even more quickly and easily. We are extremely excited about this latest development, and we’re looking forward to sharing it with you soon.
As always, thanks for your support and we hope that you will think of and Tap on the App (as soon as its available) any time you want to refer a client or patient.
Please email us at support@refertome.ca if you have any questions or issues with navigating this updated platform. If you have any trouble logging in, please try resetting your password.
